5 monthsI got a call from someone saying they were checking up on loft insulation in my neighbourhood. Apparently, most houses nearby had the newest recommended loft insulation installed. She mentioned she was just contacting the last few homes to find out what kind of insulation they had. The interesting bit was that if I still had the old style, like rock wool or fibreglass placed on the loft floor - something she warned could lead to damp and mould - they could swap it out.
