I find that there are no links to anyone I know, and I never pick up calls from unknown numbers - just block and report them on the official and unofficial consumer reporting platforms. Honestly, how can these despicable individuals get away with accessing private, unlisted, and TOS registered information? It’s utterly infuriating! The only way to tackle this issue is to impose severe penalties and enforce stricter regulations. Surely, the technology to prevent this kind of nuisance must exist!

When I picked up and it went to voicemail, they didn't bother leaving any message at all.

So, I’ve had about five calls in just over a week from someone named ‘Jo’ - first from a Sheffield number, then from one in Leeds (she seems to be travelling about!). Each call was about ‘my area’, which is miles away from either place. She won’t actually have a proper chat, just keeps reading from some script. If you mention reporting her for these nuisance calls, she’ll hang up straightaway. Didn’t really stop her though, as the next day she tried again from yet another number. Maybe she just fancies a natter with me!

I got a call from a woman with a clear English accent saying she’s my local energy advisor. I asked her which company she was with, but she wouldn’t say anything else. This came through on a landline from Maldon, Essex, around 11am on Friday the 15th of December 2023. I’m definitely blocking the number and reckon the phone company should pull it from their service.

It’s been a while since I last got a call from ‘Jo’, but she rang twice over the past two mornings. I tried asking her who she actually worked for a few times yesterday, but she just stuck to her script and ended up hanging up on me! This morning was the same story - kept going on about how the government says my loft insulation is no longer allowed. When I asked again who she was representing, she just ignored me then cut me off yet again! Honestly, why doesn’t the TPS add people like this to their list?

Lately I've been flooded with these dodgy "loft insulation" calls, mainly coming from numbers starting with 0113 and 0114, which I think are Leeds and Sheffield codes. Blocking each number doesn’t help at all because a new one pops up the next day. I reckon they’re faking the caller ID since when I do pick up and mess about with them, they sound like they're from down south or Essex, not up north at all.
