I was just letting my voicemail take the call, but of course, there was no message left. It seems these scammers have realised they can just acquire a whole set of numbers; if you block one, they simply dial you from another. Honestly, this kind of behaviour should be against the law! Got a ring on my home phone from this weird number. A woman answered sayin’ she was some kind of energy advisor for my neighbourhood. I wasn’t having any of it and told her she was likely a scammer before hanging up. Cheers to all the others who’ve commented here - sounds like a total scam!

Over the past few days I’ve been getting calls from a bunch of numbers (01615, 01318, 01146 & 01156) all linked to Twilio Ireland according to this site. Every time, I’ve had my answerphone say I won’t pick up if I don’t know the caller, yet they never bother leaving a message. It’s really frustrating, especially since I’m signed up with the telephone preference service to avoid this kind of hassle.

Got a call from this number, which is local to me here in Sheffield, so I figured it might be legit as I’m waiting on hospital calls. I picked up but honestly, I’d tell everyone else to steer clear. The woman on the line, who said her name was Jo and claimed to be some sort of “energy advisor”, was really pushy and rude. She wouldn’t let me get a word in, even when I asked her to stop talking. Eventually, she just ended the call. Definitely a scam, DO NOT pick up if you see this number. It was super annoying and could easily cause stress.
