I always just ignore calls from unknown numbers nowadays. You never know when it could be one of those scam calls trying to trick you. Better safe than sorry!

Best bet is to send the number to 7726, that way the phone companies get alerted about dodgy callers. Seems they shut down the old way of reporting scams directly through the police ‘action fraud’ website - probably to save money? If you want to complain about that, your local MP might be interested. You can still snap and email scam texts to the cybercrime team at ‘[email protected]’ and don't forget to forward the message to 7726 too.
