Over the past couple of days, I’ve gotten about 5 calls from this number, none of them leaving any voicemail. This number has been calling me quite a bit on and off for the last few months. I did pick up once a while back, and it turned out to be one of those pushy medical insurance sales calls. I told them we’re registered with TPS and aren’t interested in random sales calls, but they just kept ringing anyway. Pretty annoying really.

They somehow already knew my yearly payment to BUPA, which was quite creepy. They mention lowering your premiums but demand you answer a bunch of questions if you want details sent by email. When I rang the number back, someone answered with "Insured Health," so it's pretty clear they're not being honest. I'd recommend blocking this number for your own peace of mind.

they rang and wanted to chat with my husband, calling him by name and saying it was something to do with insurance. i said could they ring back at 9pm as i knew no one would be in till then. she said the operators aren’t on at that time. i then asked if they could send the info by post and she just said that’s not how they operate. i’m really puzzled how an insurance firm wouldn’t send you the paperwork by mail!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the financial ombudsman, saying they wanted to review our medical insurance to make sure it was top notch. Seemed convincing at first. But then they switched up and said they were actually the insurance company. When we asked a few things, they put us through to a senior person who then asked for our date of birth. We felt uneasy and said we didn’t want to share that info. The bloke got quite abrupt and told us he wasn’t going to waste his time anymore. That’s when they really showed their true nature.

Plus, some of these callers can be really impolite, almost like I’ve done something wrong. Nowadays, with all the spoofing going on, you never really know who’s on the other end.
