Got a call on my work phone but they didn’t leave a voicemail, so like usual I just chose to not bother replying.

Got a missed call on my work phone today, no voicemail or nothing, so I just let it slide like I usually do. Just read another comment that mentioned people trying to scam builders who might really need jobs - that’s just vile. They don’t hand out lists packed with adverts for builders when you apply for planning permission, so it’s shady for sure. When these scammers call me, they always claim to be from Kirklees or Leeds Council, and they jabber so fast you can barely catch what they’re saying.

Got a call from someone claiming they advertise construction firms in a guide given to everyone who applies for planning permission. Complete rubbish. If they get in touch, just tell them to do one - you’ll only end up throwing your money down the drain.
