Got a call from some scammy lot pushing pendant alarms that cost £1 daily. It was all robotic, no actual person on the line - just some automated system reacting to what I said to choose the next message. That’s why they couldn’t answer any proper questions or respond to me mentioning TPS. Definitely feels like a dodgy scheme aimed at tricking older people into handing over money.

Seeing all these comments, it sounds like this bloke is some kind of local health worker who just keeps yabbering from the same script, not lettin me finish. Feels like a complete con to me.

Got a call from some dodgy person who sounded unsure. When I asked what they wanted, they said they had info about me being vulnerable and qualified for a personal alarm. I suspected it was a scam straight away, so I kept saying STOP, STOP, STOP to shut them down. I also made it clear I knew exactly where to get an alarm if I needed one. Told them they were just cold calling me and then I hung up.

Just a couple of moments ago, my landline received a call from a chap claiming he was a health worker named Sam. He mentioned something about an emergency lifeline I could supposedly access at no cost concerning my health status. I informed him that I was perfectly well and had no need for it, but I was curious to know how he obtained my number. At that point, he promptly disconnected the call! Quite the odd encounter, I must say!

Got a call from someone claiming to be a Local Health Care worker offering a medical alert bracelet. Refused to say which company he was with or how he got any of my medical details. He just kept pushing his script and talking right over me. Seemed like a total scam, and after a while he just hung up.

When I answered the phone and said 'hello', there was a weird silence for a few seconds. Then the person on the other end said 'hello' again, paused, and asked if I could hear them. Just as I was about to reply, they carried on talking. They claimed to be from the local health care office and said they knew about my medical issues. I tried to respond, but they talked over me and kept pausing randomly. It sounded so odd that I ended the call, thinking it might have been some kind of automated message, maybe an early version of AI.

Some bloke named Sam rang me up and asked if I could hear him alright. Foolishly, I said yes. Then he started claiming he was a healthcare worker working around my postcode. I just ended the call.
