Got a call from someone trying that classic washing machine warranty con. They reckoned I was reliable with payments on a warranty I don’t even have and offered to slash my bills in half. I played along for about quarter of an hour, asking loads of questions. When they asked for my bank info, I just left them hanging for ages... then they suddenly ended the call. Honestly, how much longer are these scammers gonna keep using the same old rubbish?

Got a call on Monday 17th October 2022, but there was silence when I answered. Feels like one of those auto-dialler scams going on. Pretty sure it was a dodgy call trying to con someone.
