Claimed to be from the council’s housing repair team. Honestly, it had all the hallmarks of a classic scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the council’s Housing Repair team or something like that. When I asked which council they were with and how they got my info, all they could say was that I’d apparently "filled out a form online" - which I honestly never did. When I questioned them about it, they just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number and deleted it straight away.
