Honestly, these people are just relentless. The constant pestering has gone way past a joke, they really need to learn a good lesson.

I tried calling back using 1471 to see who it was, but it just rang busy every time. So yeah, no chance to actually talk to whoever was on that line.

Just got another call about some fake road accident claim, so I blocked the number straight away.

Received a call from this so-called ‘company’ claiming to be from the accident emergency unit, which instantly set off alarm bells for me, so I just hung up straight away thinking it was a scam. Still, it got me a bit anxious about a relative being hurt, so I rang my mum to make sure she was alright. Later, I looked up the number online and it brought me to this site. Genuinely, these scam calls are such a pain!

Got a call from some accident claims firm, they asked me who I wanted to speak with and I told them the person involved in the accident. When I asked for the name, they said they couldn't give it to me because of the Data Protection Act. I told them the DPA 1998 doesn't actually say that. Later on, they admitted they didn't have any name, just a phone number.
