Got a call from a guy who already had my name and address and claimed he worked for Scottish Power. He went on about some insurance renewal for stuff like burst pipes. Problem is, we don’t have any insurance with them at all. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Severn Trent Water, even brought up my previous address. I told them I no longer live there, and then they just ended the call. Sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call from what I’m pretty sure was a scammer. The number didn’t show up as suspicious, but as soon as I answered, I could tell it was some call centre. A bloke with a thick Indian accent picked up, and he told me his name was Sam 😂

The call came through without any scam warning, so I picked up. A guy with a thick Indian accent said his name was Sam. I found it so funny I ended up laughing out loud and he just suddenly disconnected!

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with Northumbrian Water. He told me my insurance premium dropped because I hadn’t filed a claim or summat. Thing is, I don’t even have insurance for that! Had no idea what he was going on about, so I just cut him off. Of course, he hung up on me straight away!
