Got a call from this number but they just stayed silent when I answered. Looked it up and seems loads of others had the same happening, so I’ve blocked it now. It’s strange how some say it’s from the NHS but then don’t say a word. With Ofcom cracking down on so many nuisance calls, you’d think this would be sorted by now.

I received a rather suspicious call from this number claiming they could arrange a complimentary NHS eye test right in my own abode. Naturally, I reached out to 111 for clarification, and it turns out it's a scam! This could pose a real threat, especially to the elderly and those who are vulnerable.

Got loads of calls off some dodgy bloke claiming he was from the NHS doing eye tests. He only had my name and phone number but couldn’t give any proper info. Sounds like a scam to me, best to steer clear.

Oddly enough, they didn’t disconnect the line properly, so I caught snippets of their background chatter, which involved quite a bit of laughter and some unsavoury language. To add to the strangeness, I could overhear them making calls to others, suggesting they were from the NHS regarding complimentary eye examinations. I find it hard to believe they represent the NHS, given their rather unrefined manner of speaking.

This number has buzzed my mobile a good few times now-five or more in just a couple of days, if my memory serves me right. I’ve decided not to pick up, as they never bother to leave a message behind. So, I’ve come to the conclusion that they're a right nuisance caller.
