Complete scam, no proper info given at all. I actually caught a piece on BBC this morning about these cold calls. The number was from Sheffield, but the bloke sounded like he was from some dodgy call centre in Liverpool. Ended up the guy getting really rude and told me to go away with some swear words.

Got a call earlier but couldn’t pick up coz I was busy working. So I ring back from the office line and the woman actually said I sounded rude, which I wasn’t at all! Then she tries to sell me some holiday illness insurance. Total SCAM if you ask me. Told her to remove my number right away, doubt that’ll stop them though. Ended up blocking the number anyway.

Could this be a rip-off? I got a call from a Sheffield landline, but the bloke sounded like he was from Liverpool. He was saying they’ve got info about a holiday we supposedly booked and that the holiday company sold our details to them. He claimed we should get a refund because the resort didn’t meet safety standards. Sounds dodgy to me!
