Got a call earlier today claiming I might get some payout for an accident I was supposedly in. Problem is, I’ve never been in any accident, so I figured straight away it was a dodgy call and just ended it!

Got a call from an Indian woman asking about a car crash. I told her I’ve blocked my number and made it private, so these calls are just harassment. I also said I’m thinking about taking legal action against her and the company!

My tip would be to not pick up calls from numbers you don't know. If the number looks strange or unfamiliar, it's best to just let it ring out. Whenever I get a random call, I usually check the number online first, and if other people have left similar warnings or bad reviews, I just block it straight away.

He couldn’t even get my name correct, claimed there was some sort of mistake with the info earlier today (yeah, right!). Kept going on about wanting to help me with "some accident I’d been involved in". Ended the call when I said I wouldn’t talk unless he gave me my name. Got a really rude bloke on the phone, sounded African, chatting about some traffic insurance or whatnot. Told him to stop calling me and not to ring again, but he didn’t seem happy about that. His voice got all annoyed and he started questioning why I supposedly ticked some box online or something. Kept saying he’d call back tomorrow, over and over. Called by 0114 4402094 claiming to be from the Traffic Road Association, which I've never heard of. They asked loads of questions about my partners insurance, but he doesnt even drive or own a car! The guy sounded quite rude and had a thick foreign accent. Definitely watch out for this one!
