This number rings me on both my mobile and my home phone almost daily. It shows up as unknown on my mobile, so I usually don't pick up. But then, right after, they ring my landline and go beyond the allowed rings! I avoid answering there too. When I do pick up, they stay silent unless I start talking first, which gets annoying, so I hang up immediately. They're pretty relentless, even though I've signed up to block these kinds of calls. It's seriously frustrating because sometimes I do get genuine unknown calls and I just hope they leave a voicemail.

My 80-year-old mum gets calls from these lot at least twice daily. Often it’s some kind of nonsense in a weird language, and more times than not she snaps, "I'm fed up with you!" before slamming down the phone. There are times when they cut the call off before she can. We've been trying to block the numbers, but over the past year and a half, a bunch of these Sheffield numbers keep popping up on her phone.

Over the past four days, this number has rung me about nine times. I’ve got an answerphone set up, but they never bother to leave any message. Once, when I picked up, all I could hear was some chatter in the background. I was actually waiting for an important call from the hospital, so I told whoever was there about that and then hung up. Then, just a couple of minutes later, the same number called again, but I let it go to voicemail this time. I’ve decided to block the number now.
