I noticed a post dated 16/08 about how to report fraud to the police. When you report, the info goes straight into their fraud database. I believe the 'ico.org' site for reporting isn’t functioning anymore, but the other reporting platforms are doing a great job. I always make sure to report these dodgy calls, but honestly, it'll need everyone who gets these spam calls or messages to do the same before any real steps get taken.

You'd think the phone companies would have some way to verify if calls are genuine before they get through. Surely there must be a system for it. I got a call from a woman with a foreign accent who asked for me by name. She started talking about interest rates going up, but I quickly told her I don’t have a mortgage.
