In just over an hour I got two automated messages left on my phone. Both started in the middle of some kinda convo and said they were from Sheffield County Court, telling me to call back a certain number. No way am I doing that. Honestly, these folks ought to be taken to court themselves!

Got a dodgy call with some recorded voice saying I've got legal issues and to ring them back. What a load of rubbish! These scam calls have got to end. I've already blocked the number.

I got a call from some bloke saying I was in over a grand in tax fraud. When I asked to speak to his manager, he said he’d connect me to his “superior,” but it was clearly the same guy just putting on a dodgy accent. I called him out for trying to scam me and then he got all defensive, telling me I’d be arrested if I didn’t pay up.

Got a robo call saying there’s some court case against me and I need to ring them back on that very number. Pretty clear it was a scam. The number wasn’t faked or anything. Blocked it straight away.
