This number rang me up saying they were sort of my electric hob insurance or something. Then they went on about issues with taking the direct debit and asked if I wanted to shift the payment date. Told them I’m not paying a penny and they said I had to cough up £57 to cancel. I just ended the call. They tried calling again but I blocked it. Feels really dodgy to me.

Got a call from this Sheffield number on 25th September 2026. A pretty close one buzzed my phone two days earlier, on the 23rd. Since I’ve set my phone to block unknown callers after just a couple of rings, I never got to find out what they wanted or if it was a scam.
