So I got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my broadband. They asked me to press the Windows key and the R key on my computer. I got a bit wary and decided to ask for my name and address to confirm they knew me. The person gave some dodgy answer and seemed to mumble it or maybe covered the mic quickly. Then I asked who they were, and they said they were from the council and to press those keys again. That’s when I knew it was sketchy, so I told them to stop lying and hung up immediately. Definitely felt off to me.

i got a call once from a woman who claimed she was ringing from talk talk about issues with my internet. when she told me to switch off all my wifi i just told her to bugger off.
