I've been bombarded with calls despite being registered on the Telephone Preference Service. It's absolutely infuriating to receive as many as nine calls within just an hour, all while I’m anxiously waiting for a return call from the hospital. I've finally had enough and blocked the number!

Oh, not this again. Got a call from an "Angela" supposedly from Accident Assist, but sounded like a call centre abroad. The number showed 0114, which is Sheffield’s code, so I’m not sure what’s going on. Funny how I seem to be in accidents all the time lately! Might need to watch myself a bit more closely lol 😜😜

This number has gone from just unknown to proper harassment. They’ve been calling my other phone lines too, so I had no choice but to block them. Looks like they first tried my main mobile, but since I blocked that, they moved on to my other numbers now. Such a pain!

Got a call from someone claiming there was a motor crash involving me. I said I was already dead from the accident. They tried to transfer me to another person for more info, so I just repeated that I was dead and then ended the call. Complete scam.

The caller mentioned a firm I didn’t quite get the name of and spoke about a small accident I’d been in, which I’ve already dealt with through my insurer. They asked if I’d had any accidents recently, especially within the past year, and I told them none at all. Then they suggested maybe someone else living with me might’ve had one, but I said no one had. After that, they suddenly ended the call. Feels like a dodgy insurance scam to me, no doubt about it.

I got a call from this number, and some automated voice with a weird Californian accent started talking about an onboarding department or something? Seemed really sus, so I just blocked it right away.

I tried calling the number again, but it just went to an American voicemail that was rather hard to decipher. It seemed to mention something about being 'outdoors,' but I couldn't quite catch it. Oddly enough, the number is linked to Sheffield… a bit peculiar to have an American accent for a voicemail, don't you think?

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, didn’t pick up and there was no voicemail left. Looked it up here and I’m guessing it’s some kind of scam, so I’ve just blocked it now.

They called saying it was about a crash I supposedly had last year. I asked them to tell me which car was involved since we’ve got a few, and they just said ‘we’ll come to that soon’. Then they wanted me to confirm my birthday, so I asked again about the reg number. After that, they just ended the call.

Ah, the classic fake car accident insurance call again! I actually enjoy these rubbish calls. I play along, making them believe I’m hooked from the start (though I never spill any real info). After about ten minutes chatting, I tell them - nicely or sometimes a bit cheeky - that I’ve driven for 32 years without a single crash! They usually end the call pretty sharpish after that lol.

I got a call from someone saying they were with HM Revenue & Customs about a tax refund I was owed. They sent me a link to click and claim the money, bit weird coz I don’t even pay tax! Sounds like a total scam to me, so watch out and don’t get tricked.
