I asked EE to cancel my old SIM and send out a new one, but the call got cut off. Then, they rang me back three times all within two minutes!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Three. They asked for my name and then sent me a text with a pin, which I didn’t give them. They warned that unless I confirmed who I was, my phone would stop working and I’d have to visit a Three shop to get it fixed. They only wanted my name to “verify” my account and send me a new SIM. I gave a made-up name, and I heard what sounded like an error beep from their end, like they messed up entering details. Seems like a total scam trying to hijack my account.
