Picked up the phone and it was some bloke trying to flog green energy to me. Told him I was living in a caravan and he just dropped the call. They rang back the next day but I didn’t bother answering and went ahead and blocked their number.

Got this accident claims firm blowing up my phone about an accident that was totally my fault. They’ve called me like ten times in the last few days. Asked them to remove my details from their system but they just ignore it. After another ring today, I lost it and told the woman on the line she should seriously be ashamed for pestering people like this. I even said she was awful and she shot back with ‘no, you are’. Ended the call there, no point trying to reason with daft people, probably why she’s stuck in a job like that.

Got a call from a lady using this number claiming she’s from Greener Living Limited, saying they install ground source heat pumps and you can reclaim up to £13,000 for a three-bedroom house. Yeah, right??? I never schedule home visits without digging into the company first. Turns out there is a Greener Living Limited in Sheffield with a proper website, but it’s got a different phone number. I always look up these callers on this site too, so cheers for the heads up. Like it says under this box - ENERGY, SCAM, FRAUD.

This number kept ringing me and at first I just said it was the wrong one and ended the call. But then I got curious and decided to answer. It turned out to be some Italian shop owner accusing me of stealing from his store, which is mad 'cause I’ve never even been to Italy!

I guess it's because they’re cashing in on everyone using reverse number lookups or calling back, with the phone companies making a profit for their own fancy parties. Honestly, both the scammers and the phone companies are just a bunch of time-wasters.

I mentioned I’m on the TPS list and they’re not supposed to be phoning me, she said she’d take me off their list. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.
