Got a call from someone saying they were from an energy firm, promising to cut our bills. The woman kept on chatting even after I grabbed another phone and jokingly told her my partner - who she was speaking to - is basically a daft 110-year-old who cant manage much. She asked, 'Oh really, would you be?' I said, 'Nah, doubt it'. Then I just told her to buzz off. Ended up blocking the number.

Got a call yesterday from a number almost the same as mine, just two numbers different. No idea who it was, unsolicited too. Answered and it was some call centre, the people on the line didn’t speak proper English. They kept asking for my info, but I said no way!
