Everytime a cold caller rings me, I never share any personal info, since they're the ones who dialled me first. If I'm unsure, I just chuck out fake info just to see if they slip up with security, haha. If an organisation keeps annoying you, make sure you report them to the Information Commissioner by calling 0303 123 1113 and selecting option 4, or just use their website. They have the power to shut these dodgy firms and scams down.

Got some call from a place called Spark Energy, loads of rubbish on the phone. They kept ringing me up and then tried to blame me coz i did some survey? Completely wrong. The guy on the phone was like "I'm gonna be a lawyer soon" and said he'll just switch to a different call centre after. Proper weird!

Can’t figure out which company this is. They say it’s a survey but it feels like they’re just fishing for personal info. They keep asking loads of questions, hoping you’ll slip up and share something private. I’m sure if you answer everything, it ends up with a proper scammer trying to steal your passwords or PINs. Just keeps ringing me from this Sheffield 0114 349 1360 number. It’s some survey firm linked to the Verso group. When they call, it’s pretty clear they’re not actually based in Sheffield, probably somewhere way off. They’re pretty cheeky too, laughing off when I ask them to stop. I ended up ringing Verso’s main office on 01582763090 and spoke with a woman who promised to take my number off their list straight away. Hopefully that sorts it for others too.

They ring me CONSTANTLY, so I eventually answered just to tell them to buzz off whoever it was. An Indian gentleman asked for my name, I didn’t give it, just said they’ve got the wrong number. I got a call about some survey, but they wouldn’t say what it was for or why they were calling. When I asked who they were, they rushed through their name like they didn’t want me to catch it. Strong Asian accent. Then they went on saying something like, “Because you sound like a nice lady, can I guess you’re between 30 and 39?” I didn’t answer that and questioned them back. They just kept going on about only wanting to ask 3 questions. Honestly, giving personal info to some random company you’ve never dealt with is just daft. Wouldn’t recommend anyone fall for it!
