The guy said he was from Domestic and General and wanted to speak to the “man of the house” about renewing a policy. If he was legit, and I actually had a policy with them, surely he’d know my name. I asked him twice what name he had for me, and he replied “John Wilson, right?” When I told him no, he just hung up without saying sorry. Real callers usually know your name and say sorry if they ring the wrong person.
