Got a call from a bloke named Oscar, sounded heavily Asian accent, with some other Asian voices faintly in the back. He said he was from Sky Assure and that my TV receiver maintenance contract had expired. I told him I never had such a contract, and he quickly said I'd called the wrong number. Felt like he was just having a go, so I told him to bugger off or something along those lines.

A few days back, a number quite close to this one tried ringing me but I didn’t pick it up. Didn’t hear anything else from them until just now when they called again. Figured it was a likely scam, so I just blocked it straight away.

Since I saw that programme on the BBC about scams, I just don't pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise anymore.
