Got a call from someone named "Alex" with a funny accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. I was a bit curious since we're planning to switch our broadband soon. But then he asked if I'd switched my IP to public, and that made me feel something was off, so I just ended the call.

A bloke called 'Oliver' claimed to be from Openreach. He said my internet had switched from private to public and needed to get into my PC, asking for my IP address. I told him it sounded dodgy to me. He mentioned he'd send me an email, but it's been a good three hours and nothing's turned up in my inbox.

I got a call but they just hung up straight away. You could hear voices in the background so I reckon it was probably from some call centre or maybe scammers trying to trick people.

Got a call from some call centre with a bloke on the line asking for a person who doesn’t even live at my address. Just blocked the number straight away.
