Got a voicemail by mistake from this number just now. The bloke was walking someone through their internet banking, shouting stuff like 'PIN number!' and 'account balance!' then chuckling with his mates. I heard him say 'oops! My phone rang and I cut off the call straight away, then they rang again almost immediately. When I picked up the second time, I flat out asked who was actually calling to get a name. They already knew my name and said they were from Football Pools, saying they were contacting everyone in my neighbourhood. I got pretty annoyed with the woman on the line since I’m sick of these cold calls. I asked where they got my number from but she dodged the question. I wasn’t interested in listening any longer. Even though I was clearly upset, she told me to calm down. I told her I’m on the TPS list and that I’d be reporting their nuisance calls. That was the end of it for now and no call back so far. I’ve just blocked the number and reported it to the ICO as well. Honestly, with all these persistent calls from so-called people, it’s no surprise I get rude sometimes. This was the first call from them today, but blocking and reporting should keep them away.

The caller then directed us to a website for further information and mentioned she might call us again tomorrow after we’ve had a chance to review it all. It's so frustrating! This number keeps calling my Deaf relative and they don't even know who it is. We can't answer because they can't hear the phone ringing, so we just have to ignore it. Got calls 9 times last Fri 23.1.15 and only 4 times today Mon 26.1.15. I use a BT6500 phone so even tho the number isn't blocked, it just shows up as missed calls. Surely these firms get that folks might just not be interested in such calls...?

Honestly, if it’s really that urgent, why not just leave a message? What bugs me more is this number’s brand new - I haven’t given it out anywhere yet, so how on earth did they find it?

kept calling me loads a day saying they were just doing a courtesy call and claimed to be over 50, I never pick up now and have even signed up for the TPS to stop them.
