I normally ignore calls from unknown numbers but this one, plus a bunch of similar ones, rings me up a couple of times a day. Every time there’s this garbled robotic message left that’s almost impossible to make out! I’ve blocked loads of them but they just switch the last couple of digits and keep ringing. This has been happening for weeks now and I’m proper fed up. It feels like pure harassment!!

This is getting ridiculous! They ring me literally every single day, I don’t pick up and block the number but then the next day it’s a new but very alike number calling. This number is linked to Utilita, along with a few others. I used to get my electricity from them but ditched them months ago because they were dreadful. My phone rang today but I ignored it since the number was unfamiliar. I looked it up afterwards and ended up blocking the number. Just have a look at their Trustpilot reviews - loads of people moaning about being hounded by calls. If they don’t stop, the boss is a Mr Bullen at Utilita. Send him a proper complaint letter.

When i picked up, the person said “i’m calling about the accident you were in that wasnt your fault!” I’ve blocked a few of these numbers but they keep changing them! Really frustrating 7?

This number keeps ringing me at least a couple of times daily, without fail. Usually, I ignore it but answered today. They wanted to speak to my mum - I said that’s not me. Then they went on about mobile phone deals. I told them straight up, “I’m fine with my current network, these calls are just harassment - take me off your list.” Then the call dropped. With GDPR rules now, I expected these calls to stop - we’ll see if I get another one tomorrow!!!

I seriously wish these scam callers would just quit ringing me and find something better to do. Everytime I pick up, they just hang up, then leave a silent voicemail. How about getting a proper job rather than annoying me nonstop? I’m 7 months pregnant and all this constant ringing is stressing me out big time. I keep getting calls from what looks like a utility firm about my gas and electric, all from different Sheffield numbers. Every time I block one, another pops up. Properly irritating. I’ve tried reporting to Ofcom before (not for these numbers, though), but they don’t seem to do much - you have to prove the calls caused you real upset and lodge a formal complaint. Honestly, I don’t have the energy for that, so I’ll just keep blocking them. What’s the use of these so-called regulators anyway?

This number has been calling me pretty much every single day for the past couple of weeks. But the last few digits always change, for example 0114 303 4246, 0114 303 4248, 0114 303 4249, and 0114 303 4251. I guess it's the same company or person. They always leave these strange automated voicemails that are nearly impossible to understand. Usually something like "we tried calling you, nothing to worry about, we will call back soon." I picked up once but there was silence for ages, then as soon as someone started talking, I hung up. Bit odd if you ask me.

They call me daily asking for “Mrs Green.” Each time I say no, and when I ask why they’re still calling, they just say sorry, must be a mistake. Then they start asking "who do I get my gas from?" I just put the phone down. They seem to be based in Sheffield.
