I didn’t pick up, just looked the number up on Google because I assumed it was probably another scam. Got a call from 01143033005 earlier today. It's definitely one of those bogus HMRC scam calls, same as the ones coming from 01618508563. You get this robotic voice saying they've been trying to get in touch about some legal case against you, and that you need to press 1 right away to talk to your assigned officer. Got a call from 01143033005 earlier today. It's another one of those dodgy HMRC scams, the same lot who use 01618508563 as well. The message was all automated, saying they’ve been trying to get hold of me and there’s a legal case against me, urging me to press 1 straight away to talk to my case officer, really pushy and fake sounding.

My mother-in-law got a call today that left her really shaken. She called me all worried, thinking it was HMRC on the line.
