I have a strong suspicion that I've fallen victim to a scam involving this telephone number.

It seems I've received a call from them and noticed a charge of £7.50 on my M&S statement listed under HUGEGAME.net. Neither my partner nor I have a clue about it.

This number is a complete scam - I’d definitely suggest blocking it and letting the police know. They pretend to be from HMRC and try to scare people by mentioning the police, which is really worrying for those who might be more vunerable. Never share any info with them. HMRC would never send officers round to your house to arrest you!

Got a call from a robotic voice claiming to be from HMRC. It was so clearly a scam, but I can imagine people who aren’t so tech-savvy might fall for it. There’s really far too many of these scams going round these days. Just block the number straight away!

Got a ring from 011432799 but I figured it was dodgy. From what I know, HMRC always sends you a letter first rather than calling out of the blue about something important. Seemed like a scam to me.

Got a call from some automated woman with a North American accent claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs, something like 'Greisy Bell'. She said I needed to ring them straight away or get my ‘legal rep’ on the phone, or else I’d be in serious trouble! Felt really pushy and sketchy, definitely not right.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from HMRC, insisting I ring back immediately due to some urgent matter. The chap had an American twang, which struck me as a bit off. So, I thought best to ignore it.

I got a robotic voice saying it was Tracey Bell from HMRC, telling me I needed to ring straight away or get my solicitor to do so because it was urgent. They said if I didn't respond, I'd be in big trouble. It's mental! The last time I had one of these calls, they were threatening me with arrest or a warrant if I didn’t call back immediately.

Fraud Alert! I received a call from an automated service that pretended to be from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. I had a hunch something was off, so I decided to ring them back and record the conversation for a laugh. The con artist introduced himself as Glenn Smith, but his accent was unmistakably Indian. It's quite amusing, really, since Glenn Smith is such an antiquated name; finding someone today who bears that name is a rarity! After that, I couldn’t resist ringing the number again, persistently asking for Glenn Smith-purely for the sake of pestering them. Eventually, they must have had enough, as they cut the line! I wholeheartedly recommend others do the same, just to tie them up and prevent someone unsuspecting from getting scammed. - Caller: Glenn Smith, or should I say, Bud-bud-ding-ding!

I picked up the call only to encounter an automated voice from a woman insisting I ring them back or risk legal action. Naturally, I decided to verify if it was a legitimate call from HM Revenue. However, after a lengthy wait of 22 minutes to speak with someone, the operative abruptly disconnected the line as soon as I answered. Quite frankly, I couldn’t be bothered to attempt another call. - Caller: From HM Revenue

What a scam! This chap, Eric Frenhc, is threatening me with a £4500 fee for supposed tax evasion, claiming the police will come and haul me off if I don't pay up. It's all a load of nonsense!
