On 23rd November 2019, just after 2.45pm, I got a robo-call with a strange American accent. The voice said something like, "Officer Janet Woods here from HM Revenue and Customs. The number for my department is 0114 3032360, I’ll say that again 0114 3032360. Don’t ignore this message - ring us straight away. If neither you or your solicitor contacts us, then you’ll have legal trouble coming your way. Goodbye, and stay safe." It was definitely automated pretending to be this Janet Woods person.

Got a voicemail around 2.45pm on Saturday from some automated voice pretending to be Officer Jennifer Woods from HMRC. They said I needed to ring back urgently or I’d face legal trouble. The number that showed up was 0114 303 2360. Felt like a total scam to me!
