Got a voicemail from some automated woman named Tracey Bell. I rang the number back and a guy with an Indian accent answered, said his name was Ronald something. He claimed to have pulled up my file just based on my name and started threatening me with legal action. When I asked him to verify any of my personal info, he got rude and said the next call I get would be from the police, then just slapped the phone down.

Got a call from this number earlier, some voice sounded weird like it was altered, said it was HMRC. They warned me I needed to ring them back or else I'd be in big trouble. Honestly, don’t even bother calling back, just block straight away!

Got a call just now from a recorded voice warning me of “urgent” action needed, or else serious trouble. A week or two ago, I had nearly the identical call but from another number, telling me HMRC had put out an arrest warrant for tax fraud! It’s obviously a con, trying to trick people into handing over bank or card info. These scammers should be stopped immediately.

I got a call just like what everyone else has said here, and it definitely seemed dodgy. I was a bit nervous too since I’ve only just started a business and I’m not really up to speed with corporation tax stuff yet. Thankfully, I found this site and had a quick look before giving them any info. Good thing I did!

Just got a call from someone named Tracey Bell, sounded all American and pretty menacing, saying if I didn’t ring her back I'd face legal trouble. Like HMRC would ever speak like that! Feels dodgy and probably gonna cost a fortune. No clue what the callback could be charged at, maybe loads of pounds per minute. Definitely not gonna risk calling back.
