I received a phone call from someone who purporting to represent a broadband company, and they requested to chat with the person who holds the contract. They mentioned that the conversation was being recorded for training and security reasons, yet when I probed about the purpose of the call, they were rather evasive. I chose to end the conversation right there, as it felt a bit off.

I told her that if she wanted that info, she should figure it out herself, and since it’s recorded, I’d be playing it back a few times. Made it clear I wasn’t interested and told her to take me off their call list.
