Got a call from an Indian bloke who said he wanted to check my life insurance out. But the second I told him I wouldn’t talk about my life insurance, he just hung up on me.

This number rings me nearly everyday, i just dont pick up cos its from an unknown caller and these lot are just trouble, mostly trying to scam you. Reading other comments, it seems like just another scheme targeting older folks, thinking we’re dumb enough to believe their rubbish. My suggestion? Just ignore, delete, and block them.

A woman with an Indian accent picked up and started talking about life insurance. I told her I already have a policy, mentioned my age and that I’ve had a couple of strokes. She just said thanks and ended the call. I’m fed up with all these random calls - I’m 83 and either get dead silence when I answer or all these telemarketers! How they manage to get hold of my mobile and landline numbers is a proper mystery to me.
