7 yearsJust got a call a short while ago about an accident they said I’d been in. I told them I hadn’t had any accidents. Then they asked if it was a work accident, I said no. Then if it was a family member, still no. They kept pressing for accident details and when I asked why they needed that since they seemed to have info already, they got a bit rude. Told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. The bloke’s name was Shaun, but had a strong foreign accent.Shaun7 yearsThe person on the phone had terrible English, barely made any sense. They kept asking me over and over about an accident that supposedly happened to me back in December. I couldn’t understand what they wanted at all.7 yearsgot a call from someone claiming to be with the national accident bureau saying a family member had been hurt. my wife freaked out, thinking it was our son involved in an accident. the caller wouldn’t share any further details and after a bit we worked out it was a scam. honestly these people are so heartless, they really need to be put a stop to.National Accident Bureau7 yearsso i got a call from someone claiming to be “Shaun Wilson” from national accident research. the lady sounded quite persistent about making sure my accident details were accurate. i have no clue how they found my number since only my mum, the phone company, and a few people have it! quite strange really.Shaun Wilson7 yearsJust got a call about 10 minutes ago from someone saying they were looking into a crash from a couple of years back. They wanted me to provide info since apparently they didn’t have any. I ended up hanging up, but then they kept calling back nonstop. When they phoned again, I told them my husband passed away last year and I didn’t feel like speaking, so I hung up on them once again. Such a nuisance!7 yearsThe person spoke really bad English, and I couldn't understand anything they were saying. They kept insisting on details about an accident I supposedly had last December.7 yearsGot a call saying it was about some accident probe and that my number showed up in the evidence. Told them to buzz off. I thought this sort of thing was illegal now? My number’s ex-directory. Really awful people.7 yearsGot a call from a guy with a thick Indian accent and pretty bad English, saying I'd been in some accident. He claimed he got my contact from the "national accident investigation bureau" - which, as far as I can tell, isn’t real. Kept him chatting for about six minutes until he twigged I was just messing about. Honestly, while he was wasting his time on me, he was probably annoying someone else poor sod.7 yearsGot a call today from someone saying they were with the National Accident Bureau, which they said tracks every accident in the UK. They claimed I had been in an accident that wasn’t my fault (which I haven’t). They also mentioned they were ringing on behalf of the National Accident Helpline. Felt a bit dodgy to me.National Accident BureauUKNational Accident Helpline7 yearsDoes anyone have a clue who this might be?Submit Your Own Report (0114 299 1517)
