Got a call from some woman with a really slick, kinda dodgy tone, trying to sweet-talk me into believing I’d been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. “No, I wasn’t,” I told her, and added, “you know I wasn’t.” That seemed to do the trick and she went quiet after that.
