I usually say something like, "Sorry, could you say that again? The connection’s terrible." Then in a really loud tone I go, "Ah, you’re interested in a PPI claim? I’ll connect you with our PPI claims team now." Next, I leave them on hold until they give up and hang up.

She knew my name and address and said she'd be sending some paperwork about a financial claim, mentioning I could get a cheque for over £2000. I told her to go ahead and send it, but I'd just look it over and bin it since I'm not claiming for anything I haven't got. Weirdly enough, she just ended the call on me!

Got calls from these people that just won't stop ringing, proper annoying. Whenever they ring, I ask if they're trying to sell me something, and when they say no, I tell em it’s a pity because I was ready to splash out! They actually fall for it. I’ve started making silent calls back to them just for a bit of fun! They rang me up to ask if I’d got some form they sent to my old address - and I moved ages ago, like 4 years back! Then they wanted me to confirm my new address too! Enjoy dealing with that!
