It was clear they were trying to scam me, so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a automated text from 142 747677 saying they were from BT and that my phone and broadband would be cut off today. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to stop it or 2 if I wanted to go ahead with the cancellation. I just hung up immediately as I dont even use BT for my line. Definitely a scam, total rubbish.
