I told them I wasn’t interested, but they said they must of dialled the wrong person, which seemed obvious they hadn’t. I have no idea how they got my number. On the 25th of September, 2013, I received a call on my mobile while I was caught up with work commitments. They mentioned they’d give me a bell another time. The digits seem to be associated with a business named I POWER SYSTEMS UK LTD, yet it appears they're functioning as a company promoting renewable energy solutions, specifically solar panel installations linked with a Pay As You Earn scheme. It all seems a tad suspicious to me, especially since we’ve already got solar panels installed.

Turns out they're based in Sheffield and supposedly run a book clearance service, but some say they’re actually cold calling about solar panels. A caller was pushing solar panels and asked for Mr ***** - which is actually my wife’s maiden name, so their info is pretty old, like 5 to 10 years out of date. I told the guy they had the wrong number and that no Mr ***** has ever lived here. He laughed and asked if I was interested in solar panels myself, but I told him we already had them fitted a few years back. He then said he’d remove my number from their list. Also, to that person saying they won’t pay to be on the TPS - you don’t have to pay anything, it’s totally free!
