Had a rather pesky phone call today that reeked of spam. The caller didn't bother to state their name or the business they represented. They were keen to set up a so-called "no obligation" assessment for telecom services. I mentioned that we’re tied into a five-year contract, and they had the audacity to claim they could wriggle us out of it. I firmly declined their offer and asked to be removed from their marketing roster. Oddly enough, I’m still none the wiser about who actually called me! One has to ponder, when will these dubious outfits face a ban?!

Someone rang asking if I still lived at my place, then just ended the call straight away. I tried ringing back a couple of times but they just kept dropping the phone.

I've heard they’ll be around here tomorrow chatting with BT customers, attempting to help folks save a few quid. That's where I draw the line with them.
