I got a call from a number in my hometown that claimed there was some transfer being made from my bank account. A recorded voice told me about a withdrawal request and said another amount was going to be sent too. They then wanted me to press 1 or 2 on the phone but I just hung up and rang my bank straight away. After checking my HSBC account, I found no unusual activity. I also informed them about the phone number and they confirmed it was a scam call.
