I've had an incessant stream of calls from someone claiming to be from Virgin. He mentions that there’s a problem with my broadband connection, stating it’s been flagging an intermittent signal. This chap, who introduces himself as Sam, then instructs me to inspect the lights on my modem and to hit the control key on my keyboard. If you dare to end the conversation, he’s bound to ring you up again, and let me tell you, he gets rather irate if you don’t comply with his requests. He’s been persistent, calling me multiple times across different days.
