This afternoon around 2:30pm I got an automated call from a woman saying that £400 had been taken from my account and sent to someone in South Africa. She told me to press 1 if I wanted to speak to someone about it. I didn’t bother pressing anything and just blocked the number straight away. Honestly, I reckon blocking it won’t do much since these scammers just keep ringing from different numbers. I haven’t sworn or anything at them, but I really hope these horrible folk get caught and face some proper consequences.
