We've also been receiving calls from this number, and the callers never leave a message. We thought it might be a good idea to look it up online to see if we could find any information about it.

It’s rather alarming, isn’t it? Every time an unfamiliar number rings our phone and leaves us puzzled, we tend to jump onto the web to investigate, only to find it’s likely a dodgy scammer behind the call. This really highlights the utter lack of concern from regulatory bodies like Oftel, Ofcom, and the Ombudsman. They seem rather uninterested in putting in the legwork needed to tackle these swindlers, who continue their shady business without a care in the world!

It's baffling, isn't it? You get a random number ringing you out of the blue, and instinctively, you take to the internet to find out who's behind the call. More often than not, it turns out to be yet another dodgy scammer. This situation really highlights the ineptitude of organizations like Ofcom and the Ombudsman. They've got all these supposed protections in place, yet these fraudsters continue to run riot without so much as a slap on the wrist. It's as if these so-called watchdogs are just phoning it in, leaving the public to fend for themselves against these persistent nuisances. Quite infuriating, if you ask me!

This number keeps dialing every single day, and the moment we pick up, they just hang up. It’s becoming rather annoying!

We’ve now got our call answering machine switched on all the time. We don’t respond to any incoming calls directly. If someone’s legit, they’ll leave a message or you can check by dialling 1471 later. Then, if you fancy returning the call, just use 141 first to keep your number private. Honestly, nobody-especially not those dodgy types-wants to engage with a machine when they’re up to no good. If we all did this, I reckon we could wipe those cold calling centres off the map.

Hi there! We received two calls from this number earlier today. In a moment of folly, we decided to call it back and it felt like we were dialling overseas, so we quickly ended the call! Just so you know, I’m with Orange as well.

This number has been ringing us around six times a day, and it's becoming incredibly irritating. Who on earth could it possibly be?!

I received a call from E-On Energy. They were reaching out to provide a quote for our gas and electricity services.
