I got a call from someone saying they were with EDF, which we actually have a commercial deal with. They tried to get me to renew but the price seemed quite steep. Then they said a broker would call me soon to offer possibly better rates. Not long after, this broker called and quoted me way cheaper deals from British Gas. Honestly, I doubt the first caller was really from EDF; felt more like the broker’s tactic to snag a customer.
