I received a call from someone pretending to be a BT Openreach representative. The fellow had a distinct Indian accent and claimed he wanted to discuss my broadband connection while also offering a tempting deal to boost my internet speed. However, I couldn't shake the feeling that he was actually trying to gain remote access to my computer under the guise of checking the server speed. Definitely a scam attempt, if you ask me!
