FRAUD ALERT - I received a call from an overseas number that began with, "We're calling about the iPhone 11 that was ordered on your Amazon account." As soon as I heard that, I promptly ended the call.

The call was silent, but I could faintly hear some Asian accents in the background. They weren’t exactly chattin’ nicely with each other. Feels like it might have been some work-related argument and I just got caught up in the middle somehow.

I received a call from this number, 01142423551, and the bloke on the other end had an accent that sounded Indian. He claimed that someone had accessed my Amazon account and supposedly purchased an iPhone 7 for £300. He then sent me a code via text and insisted that I read it back to him to confirm my identity as the rightful owner of this number and account. Honestly, what a complete load of nonsense!

Got a call from some financial advice people saying they could help with my debts. I asked them how they even knew about any debts I had, and they claimed they got info from a credit scoring agency. That sounded dodgy since I never gave them permission to access that info. They wouldn't tell me where their head office is or even the company name. Total scammers, in my opinion.

Got a call from this Sheffield number early on Saturday morning around 9am. Didn’t pick up since I’m not familiar with anyone from Sheffield. They hung up after roughly 10 seconds and didn’t leave a voicemail. Feels like it might be some sort of scam to me.
