Yesterday, I got a call from this number but didn’t pick up since it was unfamiliar to me. I waited to see if they’d leave a voicemail but nothing came through. When I get calls like this and there’s no message, I just figure it’s a scam and block the number straight away. To me, these types of calls always feel quite risky.

I just got two calls about my internet from people claiming to be with BT. First, it was a guy named Ali from 07876 637007, then about ten minutes later, another bloke called Steve rang from 0114 239 3220. Both numbers looked dodgy to me. They seemed to be reading from the same script, but honestly, their accents were so thick and their English was really bad. It all felt pretty sketchy, and I’m certain it’s some kind of scam. Talking to them was really frustrating.

Got a call on my landline from a woman claiming to be with BT, said there was some risky activity on my IP. I thought my BT call blocker would catch anything dodgy, but clearly it didn’t this time. She sounded like she was from somewhere in Asia, if that makes a difference. Bit worrying how their blocking didn’t work properly.

When I started asking them questions, they got really annoyed and even started shouting at me, especially after I declined to switch on my computer.
