Got a call to my number that's on the TPS register, but the caller didn't say who they were. They told me there had been some weird payments taken from some account, didn’t say which, and asked me to do something about it. Felt like a scam to me.

Got a ring from 01142345634 on the 30th of January 2024 around 09:36. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, leading me to believe it’s likely a dodgy call.

This number called me again like always, and after a short silence, a foreign voice came on the line. They claimed to be ringing from a call centre! Normally, I just let them chat for a bit before telling them I reckon they’re scammers. But today, the bloke, who sounded Asian or Indian, went off on me with “I’M NOT A SCAMMER, YOU BASTARD” before hanging up. Honestly didn’t see that coming from whatever scam they were trying to run.

Got a recorded call from someone claiming to be Visa, saying I needed to finalise a payment for a big sum sent abroad. Pretty sure this was a dodgy scam trying to catch me out.
